Friends!  I'm back.  Not because I have anything exciting to say really, but mainly because I needed a list.  In an itunes update gone awry, I accidentally deleted all of my playlists from my ipod.  This makes me so sad because a lot of them were based on actual mixed CDs I made for my friends or events, and as such, they captured a time, a place and a feeling (i.e. they were named "May 2006" or "Driving to Canmore" or "For Dad").  All gone.  Now I rely on my "recently purchased" playlists or lazy genius playlists, which always seem to include the same 4-5 songs.  But good new - I have this blog!  I knew it would come in handy eventually.  So now I can go back and pull together the most important one, the one that always goes on in the background when good times are happening - Guilty Pleasures and Old Faves.  Am pretty excited to have it rise again.  With any luck, the blogging will rise right along with it ...
